You should have a Facebook Page because 400 million people can’t be wrong

There are three ways of having a presence on Facebook.

  • Profile
  • Group
  • Page

A profile is a personal page that should be for your interactions with your family and real friends, people you actually know and have probably met.

People can only be your friend on approval by both parties.

A group is for like-minded people, “Save the ant” and such-like. Usually these groups are open to anybody.

A page, also known as a Fan or Business page is where you promote yourself and your business and brand. Bands are brands, but everybody needs fans.

The wall of a Facebook page can be automatically updated by your Blog posts (but not vice versa), which means you only need post your info once to your Blog, and your Website, Twitter, Facebook and Google buzz profiles all get the latest news.
